The masculine and feminine energies and ways of perceiving and being in the world permeate to every level of consciousness and being.

The contrasts in life define each other. Men would not know masculinity in any way near the clarity they have presently - without women as contrast; similarly for women.

We laugh as we appreciate that men and women tend to take their gender preferences for granted, and often find those of the opposite gender somewhere between odd... and... jarring. 

The differences broadly parallel the characteristics of right and left brain preferences.


This is not to say that men and women don't have the opposite list of brain functions, but that their preferred mode of interacting with the world is through one or the other.
